Decision Day – East or West?

We’ve decided to head back West… and we’ve made some commitments. So, the West won…

But before it did… while we were still in OH – we got to hang out with my husband’s oldest friend in life for a dinner out, cousin and spouse time, hubby got to go horseback riding and I got a wonderful relaxing view of the countryside of Ohio!

In the past six days we’ve kinda bounced between Cincinnati and Dayton (visiting or finding cool things to explore).

Once we arrived in Middletown, OH, at my husband’s cousins place…. and Trapper realizing getting into his cousins place might not be so easy…. his cousin talked to the neighbors. And they didn’t hesitate to say Yes to hosting us! Thanks neighbors! We loved your place!!

We stayed one night, and before I knew it… we were off to the Hollywood Gaming & Racetrack Dayton to overnight in their parking lot. I asked management if it was ok, they said of course, and I replied, “We’ll be in our RV!” There was a story circulating of a camper getting towed out of the parking lot a while back with the people in it! Yikes! They would probably knock on our door before towing – I don’t know. Anyway… my hubby’s friend-for-life is coming over tomorrow to see the new-to-us rig and Monday we’ll be headed to St. Louis, MO.

It’s 9:30 p.m. and the sun is just now setting. This is weird to me. I know it’s already pitch dark in SC…. but not here in the “midwest”….
