We’ve been at our son’s house for a few days and we are having a great time!
It’s awesome to see your grown children living their life in their own way. Plus you don’t have to be in their house! You have you’re own home! And it’s with you!
It’s actually a perfect set-up. If they want to come see you – they’ll knock on your door. If you want to see them, you’ll knock on their door. If you just want to tell them something really quick – just text them!
Having the ability to spend extended time with your children in awesome! It’s face to face time. It’s private time to really communicate. It’s only a little space in their driveway, side yard, or where ever on their property (depending on where they live, of course).
Our daughter lives about 10 minutes away so we’ve spent a lot of time with her as well and LOVE IT!
We’ve had cook-out’s, fire side chats, personal chats, gotten to know the boyfriend and girlfriend better – not to mention all the pets and I’m feeling quite blessed!
