You see it all out here! From the large Class A’s to the utility trailers and everything in between.
And when you talk to these folks – they love whatever they’re in for all their own reasons. Cost, upkeep, maintenance, size, where they like to camp, places they want to go and the list goes on. I find it so interesting that some of these people actually live in these rigs and others are on an extended vacation or trip. No matter, I find it super interesting
How small could you go? We could have thrown this in the bed of our truck!
Interesting young couple. They are rock miners and she makes and sells rock jewelry. They loved the utility trailer and have lived in it for over a year. Super nice couple to talk to.
We didn’t meet the Skoolies but would have loved to! If we were 30 years younger…. we would be in a Skoolie!
Some Class A’s and Travel Trailers. We met most of them. Some were transitioning to work camper jobs just staying here their 14 day limit.
The coolest design on an Expedition vehicle I’ve seen yet and we’ve seen probably 10 Expedition vehicles so far. Most of them had the vehicle shipped over from Germany, Europe, Austria… to explore the USA. How cool is that? Can you make out the design?
And then we have the 5th wheel folks or 5er’s as they are called. That’s us in the picture.
All of these photo’s were taken at the BLM land outside of White Sands National Monument. So for folks looking for free camping, you can get in here in about any size rig, if you’re driving skills are good for the larger rigs.
