Our trip out of Michigan to PA included our first night stop at a Cabela’s in Dundee, MI. You never know what to expect and we found the totally UNexpected for dry camping (ovenight)!!!!!
We were amazed. Look at that asphalt parking lot! You can barely see all of us (40′ Motorcoach with a toad, truck camper, and a travel trailer).
You know how everyone acquaints themselves with the space their parked in for the night, right? So we did just that. We arrived around 3 p.m. and spent a bunch of time looking around. I was so amazed on our walking tour (of the parking lot).
They actually have a large concrete parking area for 18-wheelers…. where many weary drivers took refuge for the night.
But they really stepped their game up on the RV’er side! Dump station (fee), water, free extra large parking space, and easy in and out!
This guy didn’t get the memo, obviously! But, although he can’t read or doesn’t care…. he was quite through the night. Moving on.
Let’s get back to the RV’er side….
Dump station, water, and kennels!
We patronized the store and were more than welcome to do so! …. Thanks Cabela’s!!!! Dundee, MI – we appreciate you!!!!
