We decided while we were up here we really wanted to go over to Mackinac Island.
It was a short two hour drive from where we were to St. Ignace, MI so I booked us a two night stay at Tiki RV Park using our Passport America membership making it 50% off ($24/night) for full hook-ups vs. $48/night.
We stayed one last night at Pete’s Lake to get tidied up, everything locked up and secure, and to get us ready to move. Remember we’ve only moved the rig once is 7 weeks so we had to get back into travel mode!
Trapper spotted this in the woods a few weeks ago (I have no idea what it is) and decided to leave it for the camp host next season or maybe we left it for us! It looks like wood but the underside is a soft material. Hmmm…
And just as quickly as we got here – we were officially on the road again. Good bye Pete’s Lake!
We stopped at a pull-off, to stretch our legs, and there was a path that went down to Lake Michigan!
I left my infamous signature in the sand, admired Lake Michigan and successfully stuck my hand in my second Great Lake!
I’ve seen these trees in MI a good bit but have no idea what they are… however; they are gorgeous!
Moving on to our Campground to settle in…
