We originally came to Joshua Tree simply to see Joshua Tree National Park. However; we also found an eclectic little town, which was a total surprise to us.
If you’re just passing through this town you might miss this cool Gift Shop. I’ve never seen anything done like this before.
At first glance it looked like a cute little corner gift shop but then as we were walking around outside we started seeing this…
This may seem strange for some, but this area has a lot of tent campers, vanlifers, and some car campers. So, finding a Bath House in the middle of the desert is pretty fun. A little expensive but worth it if you need it!
The store also had two water spigots with signs that said, “Tips for Water are Appreciated.” Another awesome find!
The Gift Store had a little bit of everything from clothing to snack foods and very reasonable prices.
Then below were a couple of attractions we ran across.
There were also a few small restaurants, no chain stores, and more than a few street vendors. If coming here to visit there is a Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and various chain restaurants about 8 miles away in Yucca Valley, CA.
