All the other campground hosts in our group of campgrounds called this “the pipe”. This is the most over-engineered contraption I’ve ever seen!
The side you’re looking at here is where the slot is for the money envelope, but the fun begins in the back! Trying to get into this monster took me a week to per-fect!
I fought this thing, fought this thing, and fought it more. You see where that slot is?…. Well, there’s a steel plate that is locked with a padlock inside. You have to stick your arms up in the “pipe” and unlock the padlock and then slide the steel plate out. Yep, you could loose a whole set of perfectly good teeth, if you’re not careful.
Trapper finally suggested putting the lock on the same way each time and I always hugged the right side of the “pipe” when sliding that middle piece out! I need my teeth!
