While we were in Knoxville, TN we spotted a Motorcoach in Atlanta, GA that we really liked! Solar professionally installed and all the jazz. We went to look at it.
We liked it… We liked it a lot!
It was a bit over our “budgeted price” but it suited us to a T. And we knew it. But we didn’t jump right away. We needed to think about this upgrade. So, we left Knoxville and landed at our son’s in NC.
Some known facts: We were finished pulling a trailer of any kind. We love our 5th Wheel and it has served us very well and took us to places that a big Motorcoach couldn’t – but Trapper was done with pulling a trailer. After being an 18-wheeler driver for 10 years – he was just done.
So, we made the guy an offer on the Motorcoach but knew we’d need a tow vehicle that could be towed 4-down – and we went on a search for a Jeep.
I’ve always wanted a white Jeep Wrangler but settled for a small inexpensive Jeep Liberty…. the budget couldn’t handle a coach and Wrangler (even used) at the same time. I’m still holding out for the White – 4 Door Jeep Wrangler though.
Meet Liberty! So far, so good. We just need to get her ready to be hooked up and towed behind whatever coach we buy!
We actually bought the Jeep first on May 25, 2019 and drove her back to our son’s from Charlotte, NC. Then we re-discussed the Motorcoach thing. The guy accepted our offer and on May 28, 2019 we were off to Atlanta to pick her up!
At this point we own a Motorcoach a Jeep a 5th Wheel and a Dually truck! All parked in my son’s driveway….
